The diaries form the basis of the documentary directed by Douglas Gayeton.

Dutch producer Submarine has sold the television rights for the North American territories for the documentary Molotov's Alva and His Search for the Creator: A Second Life Odyssey the first documentary to be shot in its entirety in Second Life to American broadcaster HBO for a substantial sum. The American channel will submit Molotov's Alva and His Search for the Creator: A Second Life Odyssey for an Oscar in the Animated Short Subject category.

His digital animated series 'Delta State', was named best animated TV series of the year at the 2,004 Annecy Film Festival. Gayeton has also created or designed online social networks for such clients as AOL, MSN, Vivendi and Napsters.
